You engaged in a Bitcoin transaction but you or the recipient don't see the digital assets yet. What happened?

When you send out BTC from your Bitcoin wallet, you will see a brand new transaction appear in your Transaction History. It should look like the following:

The transaction history will give you three pieces of information that are vital to the transaction's status:
- Transaction ID (the most important piece of information)
- Mining Fee amount
- Recipient's public address
Check the status of your transaction on Blockcypher Bitcoin Block Explorer. When you check your transaction on Blockcypher, you will be able to identify the current status of your transaction.

You are supposed to receive Bitcoin but have yet to receive them
Somebody sent you Bitcoin and you checked the transaction on the block explorer. The amount of confirmations is already at 6+; however, you do not see the updated balance or transaction history in your wallet.
